Who we are

STEM X Fashion runs fashion-led STEM workshops and careers experiences for schools. You can contact us at bookings@stemxfashion.com. We are the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our website form, we collect the details you enter: your school name, your name, your email address, your phone number and role (if you give them), the year groups and number of students, your preferred subject or package, your preferred dates, and any message you add.

Why we use it

We use these details to reply to your enquiry, discuss your needs, send a quote and arrange a workshop if you choose to book. We process them because you asked us to take steps before a booking, and because it is in our legitimate interests to respond to people who contact us. We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we do not sell them.

Who sees it

Your enquiry is sent by email to our bookings inbox. Our website hosting and email services are provided by GoDaddy, who process data on our behalf. We may also keep a copy of enquiries on our website server so that none are lost.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need to deal with them and to keep a record of bookings. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Cookies and fonts

Our website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It loads the Poppins font from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google servers and your IP address is shared with Google when a page loads.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict or stop using it, and object to how we use it. To do any of these, email bookings@stemxfashion.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
